MRI Basic Magnet Safety/Service Training
The MRI Basic Magnet Safety and Cryo Service Training course focuses on magnet safety and provides students with knowledge to prevent injuries and accidents associated with MRI dangers. This course also provides the student with the necessary knowledge to provide basic maintenance for magnet compressor and monitoring systems.
Course Outline
- Basic troubleshooting functions and operation
- Basic magnet safety and identification of dangers associated with MRI
- Minor Component replacement
- System software and configuration backups

Start & Finish Times
All classes begin promptly at 9:00 am and finish at 5:00 pm.
Class Supplies
Each student needs to come prepared with a notebook and writing utensil; PC is optional (All other study information will be provided by the ultrasound instructor)
Cancellation
Cancellations MUST be given fourteen days in advance.
