DRE's Savoy QA3 Stretcher Eliminates Patient Transfer Gap

DRE recently introduced the DRE Savoy QA3 Patient Stretcher, ideal for patient transport, examination, and intubation. The Savoy QA3 offers hospital staff a more maneuverable, durable general purpose stretcher with unrivaled comfort for patients and accessibility for medical staff.

The unique foldaway patient safety rails store under the mattress footprint for zero transfer gap, making repositioning safer for both the patient and caregivers.

The Savoy QA3’s design implements a wider patient platform with a weight capacity of 705 pounds. Its exceptionally low height capability allows for easy accessibility – a feature particularly helpful for elderly patients. The stretcher will easily shift to Trendelenburg, even at its lowest height.

The Savoy QA3’s advanced steering system and ergonomically positioned handles make it supremely maneuverable and easily guided by one person. A dual-locking four wheel braking system is standard on all Savoys, providing increased stability.

The K8 Pressure Care Mattress is manufactured from temperature sensitive gel foam that provides even weight distribution and molds comfortably to the patient’s body shape.

There is also a model available for radiography and emergency. The Savoy QA3 Emergency Stretcher includes all of the excellent features of the QA3, but also has: an x-ray translucent platform, a med rail and two fixed transfusion poles.
