NEW IAC Standards

November 20, 2015

Effective December 31,2015, IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) will require that all TEE transducers must be tested for structural and electrical integrity between each use. An ultrasound leakage tester must be used and documented as "Pass" or "Failed" in the routine TEE probe cleaning /maintenance log.

Don’t panic, GMI has solutions to make sure that you are compliant and ready for accreditation submission. GMI has partnered with BC Group International and PCI Medical to provide our customers with a combination of solutions for both high level disinfection and electrical leakage testing.

We have put together packages by manufacturer to get you ready for the new IAC standards.
