Until acquired by Covidien in 2013, Newport Medical Instruments Inc. was a privately-owned, physician-led company, focused on affordable effective respiratory ventilators.
Newport Medical has a long history of manufacturing ventilators for infant, pediatric and adult patients for use in many applications, from emergency and intensive care to subacute and homecare.
