Zimmer was founded in 1927 and is a dominant force in orthopedic surgery. The company is known for muscular skeletal products and implantsas well as tourniquet systems. In 2015 Zimmer completed it's acquisition of Biomet to further compliment it's strength in the orthopedic industry.
