The American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons 2020 Dental Implant Conference will be held Oct. 1-10 in a digital-only format. The event was originally scheduled to be held in Chicago but was moved online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
"With respect for the safety of its members and their staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, AAOMS has decided to combine the educational content of its 2020 Annual Meeting and Dental Implant Conference into a virtual event this fall," said a statement on the event website.
For the latest information regarding the digital conference, visit the AAOMS event website.
The Dental Implant Conference is an educational meeting for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, who place dental implants, treat accident victims suffering facial injuries, perform facial cosmetic surgery, and care for patients with oral cancer, tumors and cysts of the jaws.
About 1,200 professionals are expected to attend the symposium, where they have the opportunity to participate sessions for CME credit. Attendees to the AAOMS 2020 Dental Implant Conference can also visit the exhibit hall to learn about the latest oral and maxillofacial equipment and services available.
