Philips Telemetry Modules often use audible tones and LED lights to alert clinicians for a variety of reasons, identifying the different alarms in the field can be a challenge.
Use this guide to determine the varying audible tones and visual indicators of the Philips M2601B and M4841A Modules.
After powering on the device, the LED’s will flash once and you will hear a single audible tone. Other than any cosmetic damage, the PCB’s of the device do not need service.
After powering on the device, the LED’s will flash once and you will hear a double audible tone. Other than any cosmetic damage, all of the PCB’s of the device need service.
After powering on the device, the LED’s will flash once and you will hear a single audible tone after P.O.S.T., then a series of synchronized-sequence flashing LED’s and a two-tone audible sound.
With the device already powered on and after P.O.S.T., a series of synchronized-sequence two-tone audible will sound every two seconds without any LED flashes. The device will go silent after it has found the Access Point.
