DRE Unveils FX-300+ Surgical Headlight and Light Source

June 29, 2012

DRE, Inc. – a premier surgical equipment provider – recently unveiled the DRE FX-300+, a new Surgical Headlight System that combines a 300-watt white Xenon Light Source with a high-intensity fiber optic headlight.

At the flick of a switch, the DRE FX-300+ provides vivid, long-lasting surgical illumination throughout prolonged and difficult surgical procedures. Plus, medical providers can crank the power to achieve unparalleled ultra-bright light and excellent intensity.

The FX-300+ is a flexible option for a wide variety of surgical and medical procedures. The rotating turret accepts cables made by ACMI, Wolf, Storz, Olympus and more.

The light source’s minimal warm-up time means surgical lighting is available when doctors need it. Its sophisticated fan helps maintain operation while reducing the chance of overheating.

Lamp Life is 1,000 Hours. The light provides a color temperature of 6,000-degrees Kelvin. A clean, consistent illumination field measures 4.53 inches (11.5 cm) at a 15.7-inch (40 centimeter) working distance.

The surgical headlight features a precision internal iris to provide pinpoint spot adjustability.

Options for the DRE FX-300+ include a standard or sport headband and a stand for the light source.
