S. Randolph Waldman MD is having a great 2013.
In addition to opening the new 10,000-square foot Waldman-Schantz Plastic Surgery Center in Lexington, Ky., Dr. Waldman is chairing the ninth annual Cosmetic Surgery Show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas June 26 - 30.
Dr. Waldman has more than 20 years of experience as a distinguished facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and educator with an impressive range of professional credentials. He is dual board certified in both facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and in head and neck surgery.
Dr. Waldman combines his extensive experience with his passion for education and collaboration as founder and president of the Multi-Specialty Foundation for Facial Aesthetic Surgical Excellence (FASE). The Foundation is dedicated to multi-disciplinary education across the fields of facial plastics, plastics, oculoplastics and dermatology and brings these disciplines together yearly in Vegas.
"The meeting’s biggest accomplishment has been to bring the four core specialties together to share knowledge which ultimately benefits our patients," Dr. Waldman said.
The Cosmetic Surgery Show has had massive success, now hosting doctors from more than 23 countries in sessions on practice management, as well as sessions on marketing and social networking for staff members to help make medical practices more successful. What has become termed as the "Waldman Meeting" is described by Plastic Surgery Practice as "an intimate gathering of doctors from various, but related disciplines, reshaping how specialties work together and learn from one another."
"We work harder to determine what our registrants and our exhibitors want from a meeting," Dr. Waldman said. "This year, attendees can expect more panels, new controversies sessions and more live injection sessions. This is truly the move comprehensive aesthetic education forum ever organized in North America."
DRE teamed up with Dr. Waldman to help outfit the OR’s in the Waldman-Schantz Plastic Surgery Center, which has an accredited, state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility, nonsurgical body-contouring spa and skin care center.
"This is the largest and most complete plastic surgery center in Kentucky and perhaps one of the largest in the U.S.," Dr. Waldman said.
The Waldman-Schantz Plastic Surgery Center is outfitted with a DRE Torino EXL Surgery Table, DRE Vision Excel Lights, refurbished Narokomed anesthesia machine, and ValleyLab Force FX. DRE will demo several of the products from the Waldman-Schantz Plastic Surgery Center and many others at the show in Vegas.
"DRE was very helpful in every step along the way and offered cost effective alternatives for most of our equipment needs including everything from wall suction and oxygen to operating room tables and related equipment," Dr. Waldman said. "DRE is always quick to stand behind their products should some small issue arise."
