The Welch Allyn PIC 40 combines essential monitoring parameters with an AED, manual defibrillator, pacing, and seamless data management to create a single, easy to use package. The PIC 40 comes standard with 3 or 5 lead ECG monitoring and SPO2, in addition to both manual and automatic defibrillation. When used as an AED, the PIC 40 provides escalating energy levels (200j, 300j, 360j) per AHA guidelines. In manual mode, the defibrillator can provide anywhere from 2j to 360j. The radiant 6.5 inch color display provides all pertinent information such as quick function icons, text messages, prompts, ECG and SPO2 waveforms, and alarms for HR and SPO2.
Designed for a wide range of pre-hospital, hospital or primary care needs, the Welch Allyn PIC 40 provides everything needed for patient monitoring and defibrillating. Optional parameters include NIBP, external pacing, and data record and playback. The PIC 40 is also upgradeable without changing the physical size or weight of the unit. A unique combination of multiparameter monitor and defibrillator, the PIC 40 is ideal for day surgery and other ambulatory care environments.
